Bug List

1. The battery life of the iPhone
WHY: Intended deterioration in order to have the consumer crave the next model so that they will not have to constantly use their charger.

Reflection: This assignment proved to be much more difficult and challenging than initially anticipated. I was surprised that I could not easily rattle off twenty things that "bug" me in the surrounding world. It forced me to re-evealute the world around me and to seek things that I usually overlook because of their annoyance and that I mark down mentally as routine. Following each listed item, my mind immediately began to try to search for solutions to these problems that would make lives easier, which would in turn be able to make a profit. I believe this is how the best entrepreneurs consistently come up with ideas, because they look at the world and the items in it in a different manner and find ways to improve them.

  1. James,
I totally feel your pain with the iphones running out of battery so fast now it is really annoying because I feel like Apple did it on purpose to make people by new phones. Power outages during storms bugs me too because people that build these complexes should know that they are in Florida and make them weather resist to these types of storms because they happen so often.Good work bro!

  2. James,

Your post has a common theme that many problems arise from. It looks like you dislike waiting for things! Whether it be "The time it takes for a gaming system to update", "The traffic on University Avenue and Archer Road during rush hour", or "The long waits to get through airport security". I find these to be quite common issues among Americans. American culture focuses now on speed and efficiency. People don't want to be bogged down by others and waiting for things to happen.
